Best Player In The NBA

Best NBA Player

There’s always the discussion about who the best player is in the NBA currently, and everyone has their own player for they think is the best. Let’s break down the top three players and see who’s the best.

Russell Westbrook

The OKC point guard has been on an absolute tear this season, with almost 30 triple doubles in the first half of the season. He’s also on track to average a triple double, and he’d be the first since Oscar Robertson did way back. With the departure of Kevin Durant, Westbrook has been able to take total control in OKC and make it his team. Although OKC will most likely make the playoffs, I highly doubt they will get past the first round. Russell Westbrook can only do so much on his own, and without any wing shooters, the Thunder will struggle in the playoffs. Player ranking this season: 3

James Harden

Speaking of triple doubles, how about James Harden? He’s almost at 20 himself so far this season, and leads the league in assists. Ever since Mike D’antoni decided to move Harden from SG to PG, he has been on a tear. What puts Harden above Westbrook this season is the fact that the Rockets are third in the Western conference, which is incredible considering Harden doesn’t really have any other big names. He has been carrying the load all by himself, although that load with lighten thanks to Lou Williams being traded to Houston. Player ranking this season: 2

LeBron James

Ever since he came into the league, LeBron has made a presence. Although he’s 32 years old now, he is still the best player in the NBA. He still carries the Cavaliers, not as much as he use to of course, but without him they would be struggling, and this has been seen in games where LeBron is resting. Just dropping a triple double the other night, LeBron has proven time and time again that he is still the best player in the NBA. Player ranking this season: 1
